Bitcoin may have hit six figures as an early Christmas gift but the mission to bring peer-to-peer money to the world has only just begun. Weβve been busy building at Breez and, as we head into the holiday season, we canβt wait to share what weβve been up to.

Itβs Klever Going Nodeless π€
Bom dia! Klever Wallet, the Brazilian-born crypto app with over 100,000 happy users, made their users even happier by adding bitcoin payments with the Breez SDK. Klever has joined the ever-growing numbers of apps going nodeless β saying goodbye to nodes, LSPs, and setup fees β to create a new, frictionless, payment experience for Klever Wallet users.
Itβs been awesome collaborating with their team to help them bring peer-to-peer money to their users β weβve loved joining forces to build something special for the Klever community with the Liquid implementation of our SDK.
The first part of our collaboration will be released before the end of the year, where Lightning will help reduce swap times by up to 70%, as well as fees, for Klever Swap users. The second part of the collaboration will be released in early 2025, where Lightning will be fully integrated into the Klever Wallet app bringing Lightning-fast, P2P money to their global community.
The bitcoin payment revolution is well and truly underway.
Back to (Bitcoin) School with Ross π
If you donβt know Ross, heβs a Lightning developer and all-around great guy.
Our team gets asked often, βhow easy is it to add bitcoin payments with the SDK?β, and to answer this, Ross decided to show, not tell.
The talented Lightning developer recorded an awesome tutorial and workshop combo for developers to follow along to. Now, in just 21 minutes, developers can effortlessly add bitcoin payments to any app β with the nodeless implementation β by just following his lead. Itβs that simple.
Thanks, Ross!
Breez in the Wild Everywhere π
Bitcoin payments are no longer a rare sight β they're a part of everyday life. Thatβs why itβs maybe time to retire the safari analogy (farewell my friend) because unlike spotting a rare animal in the wild, weβre spoiled for choice when it comes to sharing apps with bitcoin payments.
This month, we have two more to share.
First up, itβs Relai. The Swiss-founded company recently announced a $12 million funding round (congrats!) and leverage the Breez SDK - Native to bring bitcoin payments to their users.
Second, we have OpenAgents, one of the latest apps to go nodeless. Theyβre building an AI agents marketplace, starting with their mobile app, Onyx β which is a bit like a bitcoin-powered J.A.R.V.I.S. in your pocket. Hereβs their founder, Christopher, sharing what theyβve been building.
Itβs The Most Wonderful Timeβ¦to Talk Bitcoin β‘οΈ
Last month we talked about bitcoinβs false dichotomy (check it out, if you havenβt already) and this month, we continued the conversation.
Preston Pysh hosted Roy on Bitcoin Fundamentals to discuss why Bitcoin is both a store of value and a medium of exchange. The pair also discussed the latest developments at Breez and whatβs happening across the Bitcoin and Lightning ecosystem.
The Breez CEO was also on stage at Bitcoin MENA 2024. He joined Bitcoin Magazineβs Frank Corva (check out his Substack) to discuss the utility of bitcoin in front of the Abu Dhabi crowd.
Finally, Jeff Booth joined Danny Knowles on the relaunched 'What Bitcoin Did', where he shared his thoughts on Breez, the future of bitcoin payments, and why you no longer have to "pay to take payments".
Folks, thatβs a wrap for 2024.
What. A. Year. And, honestly, this is just the beginning.
The bitcoin payment revolution is picking up speed.
More apps are joining the movement.
Peer-to-peer money is reaching more people than ever.
So, for one last time this year, remember: the best time to get into Lightning is now β it always has been.
See yβall in 2025!
