In this edition, weβll be sharing updates on:

π§ How the Breez SDK got even better this summer
π£οΈ Why Lightning is the common language of the bitcoin economy
π Where to meet the Breez team
So sit back, grab a drink, and letβs dive in.
Weβre Lighting Up Apps Everywhere β‘οΈ
Over the past eight months, more and more people have onboarded to Lightning β and we love to see it.
At Breez, weβve been tirelessly working with our new SDK partners, bringing P2P bitcoin payments to their (now very) happy users, as we continue our mission to bring P2P to everyone by bringing bitcoin to every app β welcoming Cake Wallet, Relai, Volt, SATO, Flash, Crowdhealth, Bringin, lipa, BitBox and Picnic to Lightning, with many more announcements coming up.
From crypto wallets to healthcare, mining to banking, apps across different industries recognize the power of permissionless, P2P money β and Lightning is the key, making transferring value as frictionless as transferring information online.
Drop us a message, if youβre ready to add Lightning to your app!
(Even) More Options to Help Bitcoin Flow π§
Everyone likes options.
So, weβve made the Breez SDK even better for developers with a new nodeless Lightning integration β the Liquid implementation.
Alongside the existing Greenlight implementation, it also provides developers with an end-to-end solution for effortlessly adding self-custodial Lightning payments to their apps and services.
Here are some of the advantages of the Liquid implementation:
Simplified User Experience: channel management complexity is avoided βwith no Lightning nodes, payment channels, or Lightning Service Providers (LSPs).
No Setup Fees: no channel opening fees reduce onboarding friction when Bitcoin mining fees are high.
Self-Custody: users retain full control of their funds, stored in a userβs Liquid wallet, with no third-party control.

Lightning is going nowhere but up, so itβs never the wrong time to get started.Β Better yesterday than today, better today than tomorrow, but tomorrow is good too.
The best time to get into Lightning is now. Always has been.
